The "My Profiles" selection box contains your customised list of information profiles. Use this control to select which profile you wish to view : the information for that profile will be displayed in the main panel of the screen.

Profile Selection
Incident

Each incident is displayed in an information box like the one above. The graduated red boxes at the top left of the incident display box indicate the severity of the incident, on a scale of 1 to 5. The colour of the title bar indicates whether the incident is High Priority (severity 4 or 5), Normal, Cleared or an Advance Warning of a forthcoming major planned incident.

The tick box to the right of the title bar is for selecting the incident for filtering - see below for details. The envelope icon provides a mail link to the Trafficlink office responsible for the incident for sending feedback. The globe icon, if present, provides a link to a map pop-up window giving a visual representation of the incident location.
The animated "NEW" or "UPDATED" wording indicates that the incident was created or updated, respectively, within the last ten minutes. The black text in the main body of the incident box gives the main message of the incident, the grey text additional information and diversion details.

Many aspects of the appearance of the incident display box can be customised by following theMy Preferenceslink on the left-hand toolbar of REGIS.

Sort and Filter

The "Incidents" group of controls on the left-hand toolbar allows you to control which incidents in the profile you see and how they are ordered.

The "Sort by" selection box allows you to choose from incident sortation by severity, area, region and segment (road or route name).

The "Filter by severity" selection box allows you to display only incidents of the selected severity and above.

The "Show" selection box allows you choose to display only incidents on specified road types, and to choose to exclude planned incidents such as roadworks.

The "Filter by text" input will show only those incidents which contain the text entered in the box. To activate a text filter, press Return after typing in the box or press the "Go" button.

To select incidents for filtering, tick the box at the right-hand side of the incident's title bar. A number will be show to indicate the incident's order of selection - the filtered information will be shown in the order indicated by these numbers. If you de-select an incident then the order numbers of the other selected incidents will be automatically adjusted.

To apply a filter and view the incidents in the order selected, press "Filter by selection" on the top toolbar. Filtered incidents may themselves be selected and filtered - you can, for example, select the incidents you would like to see on one filtering pass and then order them with a second. Pressing "Remove Filter" will return the display to the unfiltered information profile.
